The People’s Parity Project strongly condemns the rash of anti-Asian violence happening across the country. As the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum wrote, “We must call this moment what it truly is: white supremacy, anti-Asian racism, sexism, and sexual violence against Asian American women.”
Violence against the Asian community has been sanctioned by the U.S. government, including the judiciary, since the 1800s. Today and always, we stand in solidarity with all who are grieving and all who are fighting to #StopAsianHate and #EndWhiteSupremacy in any and all forms.
