‘Emhoff Must Resign’: Willke Farr Capitulation is a New Low for Big Law

The following statement is attributable to Molly Coleman, executive director of the People’s Parity Project:

“Willke Farr’s capitulation to Trump is absolutely shameful. Doug Emhoff of all people should understand the danger that will come from lawyers capitulating to a man hell-bent on destroying our democracy. Emhoff and other partners need to show they stand on the side of the rule of law by resigning—there’s absolutely no other option. If anyone should have the courage to refuse to practice the law under Trump’s thumb, it should be Doug Emhoff.”
