The corporate focus of many law schools can leave public interest students adrift and doubting themselves, but there are great ways to stay focused and get involved in pro-people work both during and after law school. On August 3, we heard from Munonyedi Clifford, Housing Director at the Legal Aid Society of New York, Chaumtoli Huq from the Workers’ Rights Clinic at CUNY Law, Jacob Lipton from Justice Catalyst, and Theanne Liu, associate at Outten & Golden, about their journeys to rewarding careers in the public interest.
