Pro-People Lawyering Series: Building Power for Low-Wage Workers

October 1 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-5

What role can lawyers play in building worker power in a legal system stacked against them? Join PPP and the California Center for Worker Power’s Rachel Deutsch for a discussion on how lawyers can build solidarity and legal power among low-wage workers to ensure a legal system that works for working people.

PPP is proud to present our Pro-People Lawyering Series, which will provide ongoing discussions of the many ways that lawyers and law students can support and integrate themselves with social movements and other efforts to improve the lives of marginalized people. Each discussion will feature practitioners working on a specific issue such as workers’ rights, racial justice, homelessness, reproductive rights, and more.
